Default Yumex cannot Authicate

network interface p128p1 (r8169) is connected
13:20:28 : Connected to an network

13:20:28 : YUM: Authentication is required for Yum Extender to
handle packages on the system

13:20:28 : YUM: Authenticating as: root

Yumex F17 doea not show root auth window to run yumex as root.

I can do yum updates from terminal window as SU .
