Default Install package during installation of the system

Hi all,

I would like to install "Virtualbox" already during the installation
of "system". both added to the repository rpmfusion free and nonfree,
but the package virtualbox does not appear in any of the groups of
programs.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Have you tried to run yum serach virtualbox?

If not do that.

There are two versions of VirtualBox, one in Oracle repo and other in
Fedora repo. They have different names, VirtualBox (in Oracle repo) and
VirtualBox-OSE (in Fedora repo). OSE stands for "Open Source Edition".

Since OSE does not have support for USB and some other thing you can
download the full version from following site:

https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

I think you misunderstand. I would like to install virtualbox while
installing Fedora.

After the installed system is easy to make this installation.

Thanks Jon.

Thanks Jon.

Yes you are right I did misunderstand,

Well anyway you can install VirtualBox/VirtualBox-OSE when you install
Fedora and come to "Package Group Selection" you can add repo and choose
to customize your installation to add appropriate package.

You can find this in Fedora 17 Installation Guide.

I have done this [1] by adding the repository rpmfusion free and
nonfree, but the package Virtualbox does not appear in either group.
If you can test a virtual machine thank you.

[1] http://rpmfusion.org/EnablingRpmFusionDuringFedoraInstall?action=show&r edirect=RPMFusionInAnaconda

The interesting thing is that when I add the repository rpmfusion,
several packages appear in the group games. But Virtualbox does not
appear anywhere.

Thanks!

Are you sure rpmfusion has VirtaulBox and not just kmodakmod-VirtaulBox
I can't find VirtaulBox on rpmfusion site

Add the repo from virtualbox.org.
