Default Kernel 2.6.24.x boot problem

Hello,

Starting with kernel 2.6.24.3-34.fc8 Fedora fails to boot.

It works well with 2.6.23.15-137.fc8 and lower versions.

May be a stupid question, but have you been able to try any newer
kernels? I think we're up to 4-64.

After a short search found similar problems with this kernel version
with ata. Check the archives of this list.
