I could install F15 with an USB stick with some trick in order not to detect
minimum requirements for RAM: I understood that such limit should have removed
in F16 installation tool.
I guess that such a trick might be done also in
updating...

Is my understanding correct??

No need a USB & trick.

21) I did a fresh F-15-LXDE install on my 512MB (that's the maximum) RAM
notebook using the workaround.

I had heard the min. RAM would get back to 512MB on F16; looks like
it's not. Too bad for light DE users with low spec. (old) notebooks.
