Default Fwd: Problem with BCM4313 wireless adapter

Ok guys, I have found the problem!

There may be something in the kernel version I was using that blocks that driver from working.

For my wireless card to work I had to downgrade kernel and kmod-wl versions, to the following:

[skorzen@g62 ~]$ uname -r

Maybe in the future this problem is solved.

Hello everyone!

I have installed FC15 x64 and one thing that always worked after installed a certain package was wireless. Now it doesn't. Could you please help me out?

Some information about my installation:

[skorzen@g62 ~]$ uname -r

*[skorzen@g62 ~]$ rpm -q akmod-wl

[skorzen@g62 ~]$ lsmod | grep wl
wl****************** 1960208* 0
lib80211*************** 4999* 1 wl

[skorzen@g62 ~]$ lspci -nn | grep Network
03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4727] (rev 01)

From the logs:

[skorzen@g62 ~]$ dmesg* | grep wl
[*** 0.000000] DMI: Hewlett-Packard HP G62 Notebook PC************* /1439, BIOS F.46 11/15/2010
[** 14.909151] wl: module license 'MIXED/Proprietary' taints kernel.
