Default 2.6.40 kernel?

Just wondering: the 2.6.40 kernel made it into F15 on Tuesday, What is
this kernel about? There appears to be no 2.6.40 kernel on
www.kernel.org.

changed to 3.0, so don't know why fedora would use 2.6.40?
