Default xdg-open always says that "which: no gnome-default-applications-properties in /usr/bin:/bin:....."

Hello,

What is the "gnome-default-applications-properties exactly? Why xdg-open
still works without finding it? How strange. I'm working on Fedora 15.

Regards,
H Xu

The presence of gnome-default-applications-properties helps xdg-utils know
whether your session is gnome2 (if not present, gnome3). the output you see
is (mostly) harmless.

(It'll be fixed in the next xdg-utils update, when it comes, hopefully
sooner rather than later).
