Default firefox / acroread: blank page

Hallo ALL,

given two systems, both Fedora 14 (32bit), both with firefox-3.6.16-1.fc14
and AdobeReader_enu-9.4.2-1.

System A is a fresh install, system B was upgraded from Fedora 13.

On system A firefox and acroread work perfectly, a click on a link to
a PDF shows the PDF in firefox.

On system B the same action gives a blank page. :-(

What's behind? Any pointers and/or solutions welcome.

Kind regards,
Frank Elsner

Type "aboutlugins" in each browser and compare the results.
