Question about Bluetooth
Hi,
If I boot up while the usb bluetooth is plugged in, I do not see the bluetooth icon on the bar (Gnome desktop). But if I unplug it and replug it back in, the icon appears and then I can use the laptop mouse pad to click it and connect to the bluetooth mouse. Is this the expected or normal behaviour? -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines |

No. My bluetooth stick is always plugged in. Comes up just fine. -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines |

I have to unplug the bluetooth and plug it back in in order for gnome to pop the icon on the bar. So, this is either a problem with hal daemon or it is problem with gnome itself. -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines |

Just to clarify, had you already unplugged/plugged-in the bt adapter before grep'ing that output? -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines |
