Running Fedora 8 with all latest updates applied I randomly get a slew
of the following messages:

Jan 10 13:15:10 localhost gnome-keyring-daemon[2113]: Credentials byte
was not nul

It seems to occur in the vicinity of ntpd stuff:

Jan 10 13:07:53 localhost ntpd[1665]: synchronized to 216.52.237.153,
stratum 2

Eventually the system (A Dell Optiplex 150) powers itself off.

I notice via google that the gnome-keyring-daemon seems to have a few
problems but nome that seem to match this problem.

Any ideas about what is going on?
