Default Printer error messages

Ok, I have an HP pcs1315v all in one printer, connected by usb. It is
detected and installed just fine. I normally keep it off, until ready
to use it.

Well, when I turn it on, and go to print something, as in this email,
then I see the printer icon and says it is, but in turn most of the time
it doesn't. And below is a message I see from /var/log/messages when it
errorred, to include the time it was turned on, to the error message
itself..

After a reboot, it starts up and prints just fine.

Any ideas? Tim W?

This will be due to a udev package bug:
