help with screen resolution
Hello,
I use fedora 8. Just to play I changed my screen resolution from 1280x1024 to 1280x800. I logged out, logged in again (now with resolution 1280x800) and then I wanted to change again to 1280x1024 but I saw that this was impossible. I only get 1280x800 as highest possible choice. How can I restore my screen resolution to 1280x1024. Any help very appreciated. When it comes up if you can't get the size you want go to the hardware tab and see what the system has for your VGA plugin and your monitor. Make sure the monitor shows a capability for at least what you want. Now you should be able to select the proper size and your set up. Karl -- Karl F. It should allow you to start fresh without holding onto older settings.
