Default Fedora 8, crypttab, tmp

Does type 'tmp' in /etc/crypttab have a hard limit of 512MB?

I created a 1G /tmp and /var/tmp logical volume, but when
using crypttab to make /tmp and /var/tmp, they are only
512MB, wasn't sure if crypttab using type 'tmp' had a
fixed size.
