Default Gnome apps font size on KDE Live CD

Run the command 'gnome-appearance-properties'Go to the 'Fonts' TabClick on the 'Details' Button at the bottomChange the Resolution to 96 Dots per Inch(DPI)

That should solve your problem.

I installed from the KDE Live CD, so I don't have the gnome desktop

installed, but all the fonts on gnome apps are way too big. *How do I

configure the default font size for gnome apps?

Yes. Google for gtk-chtheme. Follow the instructions on the website. It's
very easy to set up, and one setting you can use tells gtk apps to use your
kde setting for fonts.

Whilst the gnome-appearance-properties worked, I had to run it every
time I logged in. I ended up changing the KDE setting for this, which
may help you. There are many ways to skin this cat, you can use any
one of the following:

1 systemsettings -> appearance -> fonts
2 kcmshell4 fonts
3 kwriteconfig --group=General --key=forceFontDPI --file kcmfonts 96

Not sure about the others, but iIf you use the last one, you'll need
to log out and back in again.
