Default Fedora 9 - KDE kicker panel gone

Hi all,
I have F9 installed and running reasonably well - I see many changes.
Kde is running but the kicker panel has disappeared. I've been to the
KDE web site but do not find the method to restore the panel.

I have switched back and forth betwen gnome and kde twice, but this
did not reset the panel to its default presence.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Bob

oh - and make sure you update because there have been a bunch of updates
(but still waiting for 4.1 to hit updates)

Haven't used kde-4.0 in awhile.. . but,
Not sure, does right click desktop -> Add panel exist?

Else, remove/backup the files:
~/.kde/share/config/plasma*
and logout/login
