Hi

Some obvious questions here if you are kick starting from a Web Server
do you really want the install method to be CD Rom ? And If so is a CD
/ DVD in the system ? And are you deliberately leaving the partitioning
information commented out ?

It would probably be more helpful if you can tell us what errors
Anaconda is displaying.

Have nice day

Yes for the time being I want to install from DVD Rom
Yes I'm leaving the partioning out as the drive sizes will change
between machines

There are alot of errors if I shift page up ..

The last few on the screen are

File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pykickstart/base.py", line 321,
in dispatcher
self.commands[cmd].parse(args[1:1])
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pykickstart/commands/method.py",
line 81, in parse
(opts, extra) = op.parse_args(args=args)
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'parse_args'
install exited abnormally [1/1]

thanks
Greg

It might be a stupid question:

This line break doesn't occur in your ks file, right?

That line wrap is caused by the email or the copy paste process ..
there are not line wraps in the file .

Seems like an F8 problem:

http://www.redhat.com/archives/anaconda-devel-list/2007-November/msg00071.html

You can remove the "cdrom" line and you will be asked
to select installation media. Choose local cdrom.

Or go for F9...
