vpnc can be used instead of Cisco's vpn client. I use it almost everyday
in place of Cisco's vpn client. BTW, i have tried to compile Cisco's
vpn client on F7 and it failed.


yum install vpnc

You'd likely be better off using vpnc instead.

Note that setting up vpnc using NetworkManager doesn't work
in F8. That's an F8 showstopper for me :-(
