Default hal-0.5.10-3.fc8 won't run

After the latest updates to hal-0.5.10-3.fc8 and hal-info-20080607-2.fc8
hald won't start. I get errors shown below when I try to start it. This
is on a Fujitsu lifebook A6110 T5550 laptop.

Where can I download older updates between the release and the current
update? The update repository only has the latest update.

[root@alder ~]# hald --daemon=no

Default hal-0.5.10-3.fc8 won't run

Hi Nataraj--

Did you ever figure out a solution to this problem? I'm having what seems to be the same issue on a Toshiba A45-S250.

Thanks.

OK, I felt guilty posting without knowing the minimum changes needed to fix hal. So, I just updated avahi, dbus, and hal and it still works! So it seems the ONLY downgrade package needed is the hal-info rpm.

YAYYY!!!!
