We don't rebase systemd in F15 to the new upstream version, but we did
update it several times already with bugfixes. Look at the *.fc15
updates in Bodhi since systemd-26-1.fc15:

it depends on the kind of pdf you are trying to read, if its one that has searchable text just press ctrl-f like in web browsers, if its a pdf consisting on scans of text then its not searchable because they are just images

Question
If I wish to send an email to the author of an article on the web, I click on "Send him an email"
but the Xubuntu system attempts to put me into some kind of a new email system, that I do not want,
and never connects to or reveals the receiver's email address so that I may use my gmail system.
I do not want to create another email account. I simply want to connect to the receiver using my
current email system.
How do I turn off/stop the thing???

There are browser extensions that let you make your browser use gmail
for the mailto: links.
By the way, you can right-click on the e-mail link and select "copy
link address" to get the e-mail.
