Self Introduction
Hi Everyone,
Fellow Linux enthusiast here.
I am working on developing the netperf rpm package for Fedora. I use
this software
daily at work and thought why not be the package maintainer, right?
Will of course need your feedback and a reviewer for the package.
Looking forward to working with all of you.
Cheers!

Grettings! Welcome to the fold. There was an attempt to package netperf
many years ago: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=529105
Could have some useful ideas.

Self introduction
Hi all,
I've started an effort to package several tools from the LTTng project
[0] (See my review request [1] [2] [3])
The LTTng project provides efficients kernel and userspace tracers.
These are my first Fedora packages, but I've done some internal rpm
and deb packaging in the past. I've been a Linux consultant for
several years and now I'm a research associate at École Polytechnique
de Montréal [4].

self introduction
Hi,
as I am trying to put a new package on Fedora as a new maintainer, I've
seen on the Fedora wiki that I should introduce myself on the dev list.
SO, let's go....
I manage the developments on a BioInformatics platform in France. While
my previous experience was on Telecommunications (Mobile and VoIP), I
changed of field a few years ago. I have now more than 10 years of
experience in development, mainly Java/web oriented (though using quite
often Ruby and Perl).
I also have lots of experience on project management as a previous
project manager at Alcatel-Lucent.
I am a package maintainer in the Debian community for a few month now.
I am quite new on RPM packaging, but my recent Debian packaging
experience should help me to follow quickly the Fedora policy.
I am also seeking a sponsor for my new package (I am upstream
maintainer). Bug link is
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=724883
Thanks
Olivier

Self Introduction
Hello everybody,
I am Olivier from France. I work now as a System/Network Architect in
the Spatial domain especially in Satellite telecommunications. I work
every day on Linux Platform especially Fedora / Redhat / CentOS platform
doing software and hardware integration, architecture and packaging work.
Moreover, I try to contribute to some projects like the SUDO French
translation [1] and the Fusiondirectory project. [2]
On this project, I maintain the public services and I am in charge of
the RPM packaging.
About that I have two Review requests opened about this project [3] [4]
and it would be nice to participate to the integration in Fedora.
Thanks for have read me.

Self introduction
Hey all,
Just another self-introduction email. I just created
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=725292 and it needs some
love/feedback. I've been a small contributor to fedora for some years
now, in the infrastructure project mostly. My $DAYJOB is mostly done on
debian and there aren't really that many packages I've had to re-package
for fedora myself but in the last weeks I've had two. I am sending this
package for review and at the same time I'd like to direct some
attention to another package request:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682704 this one got
submitted by another user back in march but I couldn't find if he
actually introduced himself to the list or not. In any case I've put
some feedback on that REQ and would love to help if needed.
Cheers.

Self Introduction
Hi,
My name's Simon, I'm a sys admin/developer type in Computer Science at
University of Birmingham. We've got a couple of hundred workstations
running variants of SL6/CentOS and I'd done various bits and pieces
packaging up software to support our teaching here. Along with
rebuilding stuff from Fedora which isn't in EPEL to get software working.
My job is to support teaching and research of Computer Science and
getting the stuff we need to work in a sane environment.
I've just posted a package review request for Gazebo (robotics
simulator) at:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=725752

Hi Simon,*
Welcome to Fedora! *If you're interested in working on robotics packages like Gazebo, consider getting involved with the Robotics SIG[1]. *Gazebo has been on our wishlist for quite a while, it would be great to coordinate our efforts.

Self Introduction
Hi - the purpose of this email is to introduce myself as a prospective
new package maintainer for Fedora.
My recently filed review request is here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731898
I'm currently a contributor in the OpenDKIM project, which develops an
open source library and milter for DKIM verification and signing that
can be used with any milter-aware MTA (such as Sendmail or Postfix).
With the main developer's permission, I am packaging OpenDKIM and
attempting to help make it available to RedHat users.
SRPMs and spec file for the package are here:
http://packages.stevejenkins.com/opendkim/
My blog (which also includes a brief bio) is here:
http://stevejenkins.com/blog/
Thanks - I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can and helping out.

Hello Steve Jenkins, welcome to Fedora. Just in case, you haven't
already seen it, refer to

If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask.
