Hello!

To get started you should read the Fedora wiki.

Default Self Introduction

Hello there,

My name is Osier Yang, and I'm willing to be a Co-maitainer
of libvirt project.

Let me introduce myself briefly. I am a Software Engineer in
Red Hat's Virtualization team, and the project I'm working on
is libvirt, (yes, the one I want to build packages for). I
joined in Redhat more than 3 years ago, and have been libvirt
developer for about half past one year. I have been used Linux
for about 7 years, since I was in college, the first distro I
used is Hiweed, which is a light Chinese localized distro based
on GNU/Debian, it was good, but I bet you don't known it. :-).

Okay, I see someone was introducing the hobbies, so my hobbies
are quite a lot, the most favoured one is Guita.

I don't have much experience on Fedora package building yet,
nor for other Linux distributions, but I could learn from the
other maitainers of libvirt quickly to do that.

looking forward to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Osier

Ozan Çağlayan

Default Self Introduction

Hello everybody,
My name is Ozan Caglayan and I'm from Istanbul/Turkey, age 26.
I was one of the core developers of the Pardus Linux distribution funded and developed by the Turkish government. I became a part of the project in 2007 and worked as a paid developer until January 2012.

I became the primary maintainer of ~450 source packages namely the Linux kernel, NM/MM stack, udev, *Kit, PulseAudio, ALSA, BlueZ, foomatic/CUPS/Ghostscript/*, sane-backends, a bunch of hardware libraries, ACPI tools, perl/python modules. During this period, I tried to be in contact with upstream as much as possible and contributed to many open source projects like Linux kernel, ALSA, D-Bus, NM, Busybox, KDE, etc.

In 2010, I became the release manager of our corporate edition which was based on KDE 3.5.x and we released it in February 2011.
Now, I've migrated all my systems to F16 as I think that the Fedora/RedHat developers do really a great job and guide the Linux world with nice moves and innovations like systemd, dracut, /usrmove, automatic printer queue configuration (back in 2008), etc, etc. My main repository to look up when I maintain my packages back in Pardus was always Fedora repositories so it was clear that my second distro would be Fedora.

Long story short, I'm here to help, maintain packages, and contribute as much as possible to Fedora.
I was really an integration, patch, bugfix, debugging, backporting, scripting guy back in Pardus. I'm fairly good at Python. I pretty suck in GUI design/development. I already prepared some RPM packages that I'll put on review ASAP to get my hands dirty.

Thanks,Regards-

Feel free to scan this list for open reviews, but you must be a Fedora
packager[1] first before you can officially review[2] a package.

Martin Erik Werner

Default Self introduction

Hello, I'm Martin Werner, otherwise active in the Debian Games Team[0]
doing packaging work, and in the Red Eclipse[1] game community working
with documentation, licensing, testing, etc.

I'm in the process of Packaging Red Eclipse for Fedora[2], I've gone
through most of the review process (I hope), thanks Brendan Jones for
reviewing! And is now waiting on the dependency Enet 1.3.3 to get into
Fedora[3], something which I've also tried to help out with a bit.

At the moment I'm focussing on maintaining Red Eclipse in Fedora,
but depending on my fancy I might get dragged into other things

You can ping me by the name "arand" on IRC.
