Default VMM using Tango icons!

Hi all,

I've modified VMM to use icons donated to the Tango project. Where's the best place to send diffs and icon files?

I've also created a Wikipedia page for VMM - which so happens to have the Tango-ified version. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Machine_Manager

Are there any plans to create a proper icon for VMM itself?

Cheers,

Mike

You can post patches / files here. (If the icon files are large &
binary then I guess we'd prefer a link rather than an attachment). I
have no idea how we deal with themes.

I'm assuming by 'Tango project' you mean this:

Fedora have a desktop icon for VMM. Can't recall off-hand if it is
included in the virt-manager tarball, but it probably ought to be if
not.

Rich.

virt-p2v converts physical machines to virtual machines. Boot with a
live CD or over the network (PXE) and turn machines into Xen guests.

To be honest the choice of icon themes is a distribution specific integration
problem. Some distros use Tango, some don't. So changing virt-manager to use
Tango isn't a net win - it just shifts work from one distro another.

Feel free to add a page to the wiki site at http://virt-manager.org linking
to your Tango icons though, so people who are interested can easily get hold
of them.

Regards,
Dan.
