RV: Install and configure atheros wireless card
 

Hi everyone, i have a sony vaio laptop, i
have a problem with atheros AR9285 when install fedora from zero, i not have a
previous installation.


to continue, this is the specific hardware
profile


02:00.0 Network controller: Atheros
Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)

03:00.0 Unassigned class [ff00]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 5209
(rev 01)

09:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit
Ethernet (rev c0)


I tried
installing compat-wireless-next, and follow the steps shown here
does not work

I forgot my s.o is 64

You should use the madwifi package
