right now the beta tree, or is that post-beta ?
I've been on vacation the last couple days, so out of the loop..
I did an install from the tree above this afternoon and hit this..
which would be kinda embarressing if that problem made it into beta, and the
fix is sitting in updates-testing. (I had to boot with enforcing=0
to update and get it working)

what's there is actually probably pre-beta. I didn't hit anything like
this during any of the validation testing for beta, which involves
completing and testing numerous installs, and AFAIK no-one else doing
validation testing did either. so I think there's something odd about
the tree you installed from or the install you did. Not sure what,
though.
