The included config.sub is older than 10 years. Try running autoreconf.

The included config.sub is older than 10 years. *Try running autoreconf.

exists redhat-rpm-config in mock env ?

rpmbuild -bc xxx.spec
++ basename ./config/config.sub
+ '[' -f /usr/lib/rpm/redhat/config.sub ']'
+ /bin/rm -f ./config/config.sub

++ basename ./config/config.sub
+ /bin/cp -fv /usr/lib/rpm/redhat/config.sub ./config/config.sub
`/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/config.sub' -> `./config/config.sub'

Are we ready to retire this package yet? It's been many years since
upstream stopped maintaining this (in favor of bzr).

I think so. I will not use it from f13 and up; we are moving our
(remaining) upstream
repos to another vcs now. So, I can make bazaar dead in devel (according
to the wiki page How_to_remove_a_package_at_end_of_life) if you agree?!

So, you recommend to add the above lines (or something similar) to the
spec file?

I wanted to test the build process in mock, but I get Missing

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.

How can I fix this, test the build?

I'd recommend to update to recode-3.7-beta2.
