Default looking for pymol tester/comaintainer for EL5

With a good chunk of help, I now have fedora builds of pymol available
(see bugzilla ID 462251 for the full details). However, I'd like to
have some help with building/testing for EL5, as I'd like to make it
available but don't have an EL box to explicitly test on.

Many thanks,
Tim

I'll bite. Point me to a SRPM and a list of what I should do to test,
aside from building.

Right, I'd guess the build will be successful with a simple
--vendor=fedora tag?

Once it successfully builds and installs OK, try opening the program and
running a few demos (wizard->demo->whatever), rotating/translating
objects with the mouse - that should be sufficient to ensure proper
operation.

Thanks for the help,

Tim

Apply the attached patch and drop the trailing space from line 1 of
pymol.desktop.

But I can't install, no python-pmw available?

which should also be available in EPEL testing.

--vendor=fedora should not be used for new packages, use --vendor="" instead to
get desktop-file-install to install the .desktop file without prepending a
vendor prefix.

PS: See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/TomCallaway/DesktopFileVendor for the
relevant guideline change, it got approved by FPC on 2008-10-21 and by FESCo on
2008-10-22, but the Packaging/Guidelines page hasn't been updated yet.

Thanks, Kevin. Tim, I've updated cvs for all branches, and bumped the
release.

Got it, pymol works great, AFAICT.
