packaging problem using maven3
Hi folks,
Disclaimer first: I am a newb to java packaging, so excuse my ignorance. I am working on packaging a number of java packages[1]. And currently on apache-log4j-extras. However, I currently get this far[2]. My spec file is here[3]. I am certain it is something simple and obvious that I am missing. Ohhh this is on F15 btw. Thanks [1]http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Cloudstack [2]http://fpaste.org/PTTq/ [3]http://ke4qqq.fedorapeople.org/apache-log4j-extras.spec -- java-devel mailing list java-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/java-devel |

Three problems I see and the problems are in upstream pom.xml: 1. Using old <groupId>ant</groupId> which became <groupId>org.apache.ant</groupId> since ant 1.7 2. Requiring ant-nodeps which has been merged into ant since ant 1.8 3. Missing BR on ant-contrib whic is completely different project. Good luck, Alex > > > Thanks > > [1]http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Cloudstack > [2]http://fpaste.org/PTTq/ > [3]http://ke4qqq.fedorapeople.org/apache-log4j-extras.spec > -- > java-devel mailing list > java-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org > https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/java-devel -- java-devel mailing list java-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/java-devel |

I believe Alex replied there so I'll comment on different thing :-) > > [1]http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Cloudstack Several packages listed as "not in fedora" are in fact in fedora or soon will be: * gson as "google-gson" - review https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=703464 * httpcore as "httpcomponents-core" * servlet api as "tomcat6-servlet-2.5-api" (tomcat5 is being phased out) Good luck packaging the rest, -- Stanislav Ochotnicky <sochotnicky@redhat.com> Software Engineer - Base Operating Systems Brno PGP: 7B087241 Red Hat Inc. http://cz.redhat.com -- java-devel mailing list java-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/java-devel |
