I am working on a banner for LinuxCon europe. So thats what I have in mind.

I agree, it looks fantastic! If you are up for it Sirko, you might try
giving the pattern in the background a more pronounced 'wave' but it's
not necessary and I don't know if it would work. (Might look a bit more
exciting if it worked but hard to know without trying)

If the banners could be reused a second or third time I would recommend
keeping the design generic as it is now so it's not tied to a particular
event. But if it's going to be printed out on paper or such and won't
survive more than one event, it would be a nice touch to add event
details, maybe in a corner?

yes will try that, Iike on the begin of the wave there it looks more "wavy"

its for an rollup so it should be more generic.

Sirko,
thanks for your help! I'm still trying to find out the requirements for
printing.

To clarify: it's going to be printed for rollup, so it has to be generic.
But it's not a bad idea to make the design with place for even informations,
we would use it for sure too.

Another idea is to order the flag system - with the shape of drop it could
work for Fedora loga (the shape of the flag is flexible).

I updated it, its more wavy now. But u can see it only on the begin, the most
of the wave is hidden from the 4foundation bubbles in the center

The design is awesome and perfect for a simple rollup! Can you please
share the source so I can hack up something for FUDCon Pune as well?
