koji and mock configs
Where should I look to edit the default template for the mock config that
koji uses to run mock? I need to set a value in the yum.conf section of the mock config file so that syslog_device=/dev/null or syslog_device=' so that koji builds will stop sending yum output to syslog. Thanks, -sv -- buildsys mailing list buildsys@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/buildsys |

The template for the mock config is pretty basic, and hard-coded in the Koji source code: https://fedorahosted.org/koji/browser/koji/__init__.py#L1219 When was support for syslog_device= added to mock? Will earlier versions of mock choke on that config entry, or ignore it? -- buildsys mailing list buildsys@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/buildsys |

It wasn't added to mock - it was added to yum - in march of 2010. mock.cfg controls the yum.conf. -sv -- buildsys mailing list buildsys@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/buildsys |

Ok, so the same question applies to older versions of yum.
