Earlier IIRC I was told that I still have to get the approval from
Fedora Board if I want to use the Fedora brand for a customized spin of
any sort. If that is not the case, the trademark guidelines probably
need to be modified or the current policy written down somewhere
officially so that everyone can rely on the information to distribute
their customized Fedora spins without necessarily having to make them
available via spins.fp.o first.

Now I remember why my brane often hurts thinking on topics such as
licensing, patents, trademarks... I had been successfully repressing
those thoughts, but now... ouch.

Not yet. Looks like I am running into bugs with livecd-creator. Still
debugging issues.

Do you have a place where you can put the live image temporarily for
it to be looked at?
I'll see if we can make sure we discuss the localized spin at the next
board meeting, but we'll need someone to make your freshly minted
preview image available somewhere for people to poke at.

I have a couple of tested .ks files at

These are derived from the desktop ks file for Fedora 8 with the locale,
keyboard and timezone settings customized along with a few package
changes. Take a look at it and let me know if these are ok. I have a few
other languages where a customized spin is desired and I am working on
the L10N team here. Might take sometime. Thanks.
