Earlier IIRC I was told that I still have to get the approval from Fedora Board if I want to use the Fedora brand for a customized spin of any sort. If that is not the case, the trademark guidelines probably need to be modified or the current policy written down somewhere officially so that everyone can rely on the information to distribute their customized Fedora spins without necessarily having to make them available via spins.fp.o first. If we don't want to host them, am I still allowed to call them Fedora? Assuming the images are built such that we have the option to host them, then you should be able to call them Fedora. Board approval may still be involved. I don't think the commitment to hosting them on spins.fp.o is a blocker to calling it Fedora, but we may need you to make a public hosting commitment in place of being hosted internally. I don't have any resources to host the images publicly elsewhere. Do you have a working image right now? Not yet. Looks like I am running into bugs with livecd-creator. Still debugging issues. Failing that, a functional .ks file would suffice. I have a couple of tested .ks files at http://sundaram.fedorapeople.org/ These are derived from the desktop ks file for Fedora 8 with the locale, keyboard and timezone settings customized along with a few package changes. Take a look at it and let me know if these are ok. I have a few other languages where a customized spin is desired and I am working on the L10N team here. Might take sometime. Thanks.
