It's a bit backwards to expect feed back/reply to boards ticket which an
community member creates when he cant view his own tickets.
"TICKET_VIEW privileges are required to perform this operation on Ticket
#125"

Wonder if this is a regression with the new trac. Historically the
creator of a ticket in board trac instance has been able to view and
update things (as well as folks in the cc-list)

Tickets are visible to the requester, to all board members and all
people in CC. Are you sure you were logged in?

You seem to be assuming or implying that this situation is by design as opposed to accidental. I won't go so far as to evoke Hanlon's razor here, because I don't think it's caused by stupidity, I think it's just genuinely an accident in the config, or I would rather choose to believe that over malice until proven otherwise.

According to the 'Privileges' setting, all authenticated users have
TICKET_CREATE, TICKET_MODIFY, TICKET_VIEW_SELF, so this should still
work.

I can duplicate this issue. I am trying to fix it.

The private tickets plugin doesn't seem to be working as expected after
the recent trac upgrade.

Sorry for the delay in looking at it, I don't normally look for problem
reports here.

This issue should be fixed.

It was a change in the way the permissions work in trac. Before it
could grant viewing in the plugin, but now plugins can only deny, so
the base TICKET_VIEW had to be added to the autheticated user.

This is then denied in the privatetickets plugin for non owner/cc/etc
of the ticket.

I've fixed all projects using the privatetickets plugin.

Please file a infrastructure ticket or let us know in #fedora-admin on
freenode if anyone sees any issues or problems.
