Default redhat-rpm-config and %configure

Unfortunately, RHEL6 redhat-rpm-config's %configure macro does not use
%{_configure} to allow you to redefine the location of the configure script
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=652084). Do we have any recourse
in EPEL to override it or are we stuck with it?

I can't think of any sane way for us to override it off hand. ;(

As a workaround one can just run
ln -s ../configure .
and then %configure should work just fine (if automake has been
properly set up, that is).

If it doesn't work, you may have to copy around some files for which
automake assumes certain locations.
