Bug in Edubuntu 11.10 -User Accounts
Hello,
I try to create new users in Edubuntu 11.10. Menu: System Settings/User accounts -> nothing message (terminal) segmentation fault in Ubuntu 11.10 you can use System Settings/User accounts, so is it a Edubuntu bug? Bug in Edubuntu 11.10 -User Accounts

Are you logging in via ssh (through a terminal)? I discovered the hard way that User Accounts can only be changed from the server. Regards, David I installed Ebuntu 11.10 with the ltsp-package. I tried to use gnome-user-accounts from the server side (no ssh) No window opened, nothing happened. On the server-side I opened a terminal type in gnome-control-center, click on users-accounts. No action. The message in terminal is "segmentation fault" This same problem I can reproduce on a virtual-box-edubuntu 11.10 with ltsp package, too. I know the way to add user in a terminal. That is not a problem for me, but perhaps for other (new) users. Reiner On Sat, 2011-10-22 at 14:02 +0200, Reiner Schmid wrote: Hello, I try to create new users in Edubuntu 11.10.
