hardy: unable to change root passwd on thinclient image: SOLVED
Thanks Dean! I know understand that I have to unlock the account
AFTER I rebuild the image and reboot the client. I was trying to
unlock it before I rebuilt the image.
So for future reference the steps should be:
1. sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386
2. issue the "passwd" command and changed the password
3. exit the chroot environment
4. sudo ltsp-update-image
5. reboot the thin client
6. sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386 and do passwd -u
Now I am able to login to the tc image.
Thanks to all for your help.
