Default Commercial support for Debian?

Does anyone know of a reasonable, trustworthy company that provides tech
support for Debian (pure regular Genuine Debian - not some customized
version) in the U.S.?

I'm talking about high-level consultants that an experienced System
Administrator / technician can call or email to get help with things he can't
figure out and needs fixed quickly.

Looking for per-incident support, not a yearly/monthly contract.

I'm *not* talking about newbie support (though there are days my mental
capacity seems to fall mighty low . . .). I would sell my own services to a
newbie but I would not try to sell myself as an uber-geek to work for another
admin. So I don't want to hire someone like myself - I need a real expert.

FYI I already know about http://www.debian.org/consultants/#US - I am hoping
for a referral.

I updated my f8 system today and something happens, I don't know what, I
don't know why...: my xdvi config has changed...

I used to have a config file in /opt/share/texmf/xdvi which I (wrongly)
considered as *my* config file for xdvi... This is no longer true! This
file was not changed, it was not deleted, it is *ignored*..... why?

And my xdvik package was not even updated:

grep dvi /var/log/yum.log
May 13 15:26:30 Updated: dvipng - 1.9-30.fc8.x86_64
May 13 15:27:54 Updated: texlive-texmf-dvips - 2007-21.fc8.noarch
May 13 15:34:17 Updated: texlive-dvips - 2007-30.fc8.x86_64
May 13 15:34:17 Updated: dvipdfm - 0.13.2d-30.fc8.x86_64
May 13 15:34:58 Updated: texlive-dviutils - 2007-30.fc8.x86_64

where is the culprit?

thanks for any clue.
