map doesn't work (vim)
 

hey , there,

I come across a weird problem in vim.

Today , I plan to read the source code in vim in virtual console
(<A-C-F1 ---F6)， but it seems
"map" doesn't work .

map <C-F12> :!ctags -R --c++-kinds=+p --fields=+iaS --extra=+q . <CR>
"doesn't work

However I try another case :
map <F12> i#include<stdio.h> "it works
imap myemail lyh19901223@gmail.com "it works too

And all of the above can work if I use vim in gnome-terminal .

any clue/tips?

it's Debian that the problem occurs , isn't it?
some bugs are not resulted by the software itself , but the
environment it's deployed in ,
even though I'm not sure why it happens .

And vim is modified by the packagers, how do I know when this
bug(problem) was introduced ?
