Hallo,

ich sichere meine E-Mails in evolution stets über "Einstellungen
sichern". Jetzt habe ich zum ersten Mal das Problem, dass es nicht
funktioniert.

Es wird die Meldung: unexpected end of file angezeigt.

Der Befehl gzip -cd evolution-backup.tar.gz | tar -xvf - im Terminal
ausgeführt liefert:

tar: Unerwartetes Dateiende im Archiv.

Es scheint also, die - für mich wichtige - Inbox eventuell noch
erreichbar zu sein, aber ich weiß nicht wie?

Kann mir jemand helfen? Wäre für mich wichtig.

Unfortunately your backup seems corrupted. There are some recovering
instructions at http://www.gzip.org/recover.txt, but be warned that they
aren't simple to follow.
