Default apt-listbug weirdness

Hi,

I am enjoying the use of apt-listbug.

Just now it died saying it couldn' t find /dev/tty :-(

Tried it 2x.

Then I ran 'apt-get dist-upgrade' in script mode and it ran...

Go figure. A bug in apt-listbug?

Hugo

Hugo,

No bug, apt-listbug hooks into the apt upgrade/installation process, it
is not intended to run as a stand-alone application.

Pardon me Mr. Serban but I believe you are mistaken. I use apt-listbugs
often to check packages status

[VT/dev/pts/3 wtopa@dj-SQUEEZE]

~$ apt-listbugs list ia32-libs

Reading package fields... Done

Reading package status... Done

Retrieving bug reports... Done

Parsing Found/Fixed information... Done

serious bugs of ia32-libs ( -> ) <marked as done in some version>

#540199 - Copyright file incomplete (Fixed: ia32-libs/20090808)

#563402 - ia32-libs broken on ia64 (Fixed: ia32-libs/20100905
ia32-libs/20100908 ia32-libs/2.7+lenny1)

serious bugs of ia32-libs ( -> ) <unfixed>
#602810 - ia32-libs fails in postinst due to wrong version
conditioning prior to dpkg-divert (Fixed: ia32-libs/20100914)

Summary:
ia32-libs(3 bugs)

Saves a lot of time.
