Default MIT Kerberos won't start at boot.

Hello,

I have installed MIT Kerberos in conjunction with OpenLDAP and OpenAFS
on Debian Etch 'n half with this excellent howto :
http://techpubs.spinlocksolutions.com/dklar/kerberos.html

But Kerberos won't start at boot :

Jan 30 07:39:47 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2417](info): setting up network...
Jan 30 07:39:47 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2417](info): skipping unrecognized local address family 17
Jan 30 07:39:47 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2417](info): set up 0 sockets
krb5kdc: no sockets set up?
coconutcrab:0:/var/log/kerberos%

It works perfectly if I start it manually with /etc/init.d/krb5-kdc :

Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): setting up network...
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): skipping unrecognized local address family 17
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): listening on fd 6: udp 192.168.1.59.88
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): listening on fd 7: udp 192.168.1.59.750
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): listening on fd 8: udp fe80::221:85ff:fe11:6a9f%eth0.88
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): listening on fd 9: udp fe80::221:85ff:fe11:6a9f%eth0.750
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2859](info): set up 4 sockets
Jan 30 08:13:07 coconutcrab krb5kdc[2860](info): commencing operation
coconutcrab:0:/var/log/kerberos%

It seems that Kerberos doesn't find my network card during bootup like
if she wasn't initialized.

I don't understand, why ?

Best Regards.

I have found the problem : the Debian installer doesn't put auto eth0
in /etc/network/interfaces.

It works perfectly now.
