Default Anyone know what's up with the Quantum Gis package?

http://packages.qa.debian.org/q/qgis.html

Looks like the maintainer went AWOL and it's been removed from
everything but Etch. Any clues?

Thanks,
David

The package is in the hands of Debian GIS Project [1], if you want the
package to stay in debian then think about giving them a help. I also
see [2] that backports has a newer version of the package.
