debian 6.0 2.6.32-5-amd64, compiz crahs
 

I have a hp dv6646
video card Nvidia GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M

when I run compiz --replace

I get this

I got the same error when I run

gconftool-2 --type string --set /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager compiz

I was having the same problem. Are you running as root? exit root and try as a regular user.
