Does anyone have experience on installing Debian(5.0)
on laptop Lenovo x1004? Thanks.

I think the Lenovo X100e might be too new for Debian Lenny; see
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X100e where newer Linux distros have
been used.


It might be worth creating a min network install (see docs) or Lenny Live
boot disc / USB stick to see how much hardware is detected and take it from
there. It's also a good idea to post the specifics about your X100e i.e.
exact model / hardware spec link on Lenovo website.
