Hi all!

As you know, we are heading towards the annual tenth release of Fedora.
And I thought it might be interesting to make some sort of tour through
the Fedora history. It might be interesting to directly compare Fedora 1
to Fedora 10 :-D

Any thoughts on this? Volunteers? Comments? Perhaps joining forces with
the Docs/Marketing folks?

I want to join Infrastructure team.. but I read most of the information on the wiki, but not sure on how to just get started..? I'm sure that there should be some type of subversion that is used.. this would be the first time that I actually gets involved with the open source work.. but I'm a little busy for the next 2 weeks for final exams..

Maybe we could do something in the style of those 'group
autobiographies' [1] [2] and sit down all the Fedora Project Directors
from Fedora 1 up to Fedora 10 and just have them talk, do some light
copy editing, and post it somewhere. However I'm not sure how well this
would work, figuring that all the directors directed during a different
part in Fedora's history. (I'm not even sure if we had a project director
for each Fedora release.)

Before we duplicate efforts here it is worth mentioning that Jon has
been working on a comparative study of backgrounds of various OSes.

Yup... reviving some nostalgia and building celebration for the "perfect
10".


I believe you remember the work in progress image by Mola about the
history of Fedora (sorry, no link, Mola's server is "509 Bandwidth Limit
Exceeded").
