Bug#689962: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64: Compile with CONFIG_VIRTIO_CONSOLE=y

Wouldn't it make sense to compile it > in-kernel to get the same behaviour as with a serial console? In fact, as of 3.6, it is not possible to use virtconsole as an initial console. I don't know if this will be fixed later but this makes the bug for this specific kernel moot. Feel free to close if you think there is nothing to do here. Thanks. -- printk(KERN_ERR "msp3400: chip reset failed, penguin on i2c bus? "); 2.2.16 /usr/src/linux/drivers/char/msp3400.c |
