Dear Debian,

To further troubleshoot, I downloaded and built kernel 3.4.4 generic
from Kernel.org, built the .deb package as per "Building the kernel
the Debian way", and automount works perfectly when running 3.4.4.

I may have forgotten to mention that even CDs fail to mount while
running the Debian 3.2.0.3
