Default Bug#679693: How to debug

I'd like to help with this issue, but don't know how.
I'd like to avoid bisecting grub config, as it's my production machine
and it could be time-consuming.
Is there a way to have any grub logs?
Maybe it's a grub issue, which manifested itself after kernel upgrade?

Regards,
Robert
