Default Bug#679372: DOMU hangs on high load (dd)

Hello everybody,

I liked to clone a xen domu installed on a LVM. So I made a snapshot of the appropriate volume, created a new volume and than I tried to copy the snapshot with dd.

# dd if=/dev/vgvms/lamp-snap of=/dev/vgvms/lamp-new bs=1024k

But after a short while there was no response from the only existing domu anymore. In the domu kern.log I got a lots of messages like:

I'm not sure if the bug is related to the kernel or xen or LVM, but I've read there is may a problem with the kernel scheduler (e.g. http://archimedeseureka.blogspot.de/2011/04/xen-guest-io-issue-task-blocked-for.html).
Of course I have no machine described there an also I don't have a hardware raid controller.
But I know I have cloned a domu on another machine with Lenny and XEN3.2 exactly this way and I had no problem at all.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.5, kernel 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 and libc6 2.11.3-3
