I would like to add additional information to this report.

I have another Linux distribution on another disk partitions on the same computer and there I have the same problem, the same error hapens the same way.

The other Linux distribution is a Kubuntu version 11.10 on a Linux 3.0.0-12-generic kernel.

The error message there states:
