Sorry for the slow response. Please attach output from

reportbug --template linux-image-$(uname -r)

Does unloading the ehci_hcd module with "modprobe -r ehci_hcd" before
hibernating help?

Curious,
Jonathan

Default Bug#605032: Acer Aspire 5553g fails to resume after hibernate

I have the same model.

Hibernate also does not work for me. When I hibernate from the gnome
menu, the screen goes back and does not turn off. The power led starts
blinking which I would expect, and like the original reporter said, no
keys are responding other than rebooting by holding the power button down.

Unloading ehci_hcd before hibernating does not yield different results.

I am attaching the output of reportbug --template linux-image-$(uname -r).
