Hello,
I write you to report about a bug in linux-image-3.2.0-amd64. Simplely, IDE module es disable: # # Texas Instruments shared transport line discipline # # CONFIG_TI_ST is not set CONFIG_SENSORS_LIS3_I2C=m # # Altera FPGA firmware download module # # CONFIG_ALTERA_STAPL is not set CONFIG_HAVE_IDE=y # CONFIG_IDE is not set # # SCSI device support # CONFIG_SCSI_MOD=m CONFIG_RAID_ATTRS=m CONFIG_SCSI=m CONFIG_SCSI_DMA=y CONFIG_SCSI_TGT=m CONFIG_SCSI_NETLINK=y # CONFIG_SCSI_PROC_FS is not set IDE is very used bus currently and I think it should be enable always. Thank you. P.S.: I cant use reportbug because python2.7 broke it, and it is still broken. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? [...] IDE (now known as PATA) interfaces and devices are still supported. However this is done through new drivers which share code with the SATA and SCSI subsystems. This transition started in 'squeeze' and is now complete (except for ia64 and m68k architectures).
